Lawyers dismiss Park West libel case
However non-binding judgement means part of action will still go ahead

By Cristina Ruiz - The Art Newspaper

LONDON. A defamation case against two London lawyers who are suing the Michigan-based Park West Gallery over their purchase of a set of Salvador Dali prints was dismissed last month... read more

It's interesting to note Royal Caribbean's stock quote at the end of this article. This is the same quote they used for "The Independent" article published in the Summer of 2009. If Royal Caribbean is truly "take[ing] very seriously the issues that have recently been raised regarding some of Park West's business practices," as they continue to trumpet, then why hasn't ANY action whatsoever been taken to stop the fraud? Why is Royal Caribbean still allowing this spurious, faked, forged and worthless artwork to be sold onboard its cruise ships? It is also important to note that Royal Caribbean continues to profit significantly from Park West Gallery's continued sales.

Also shocking is the public admission by Park West Gallery's lawyer, Jaye Quadrozzi where she discloses that the Gallery has sold sets of the Divine Comedy in excess of what victims Sharon Day and Julian Howard paid. Clearly, Quadrozzi doesn't realize how much this public revelation hurts her client. Now that this little cat is out of the bag (thanks Jaye), we can further report that Fine Art Registry knows exactly how much others have paid for sets of forged Dali artwork that Park West Gallery has sold and we will report on this in the near future.

Fine Art Registry congratulates "The Art Newspaper" and reporter Christina Ruiz on a well-written and revealing article. It's about time that Park West Gallery and the cruise lines are exposed for their conspiratorial, deceptive and unfair trade practices.
